Remise du diplôme d'Ambassadeur de Bonne Volonté de la Principauté de Monaco à M. Yves Piaget
Once again, the Monaco Ambassadors Club gathered the Principality's high society for a cocktail held at the Hotel Hermitage, in order to reward Mr. Yves Piaget with the Monaco Goodwill Ambassador Award.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II personally granted the award to Mr. Piaget, and gave a speech praising the Monaco Ambassadors Club before an audience that included the Minister of State, the Secretary of State, the Director of Cabinets of HSH, the French Ambassador, and other dignitaries. H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince retraced the Club's history to its very beginning, an initiative of H.S.H. Princess Grace of Monaco and enumerated the association's missions and goals, especially that of giving a positive image of Monaco to the world, and helping charitable functions.
His Highness paid tribute to Mr. Piaget who is one of the innovators of the watch making industry. The name "Piaget" is synonymous with true luxury, and continues to make us dream to this day.
Piaget is not only an international brand. Behind this prestigious appellation stands a man of talent, passionate about aesthetics, creator of masterpieces, but also a simple and honest man.
Granted the Grande Médaille d'Argent de la ville de Paris, he was then appointed Commandeur de l'Ordre National de Côte d'Ivoire, followed by the insignia of Officier de l'Ordre de Saint-Charles, awarded to him by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III.
Vice President and co-founder of Monaco's Equestrian Federation, he holds many other important positions.
