The Monaco Ambassadors Club was founded in 1973 by Dieter Friedrich with the strong support of H.S.H Princess Grace with the aim of gathering together people wishing to promote the values of the Principality of Monaco, and thus actively participating in extending its influence.
Sponsored by the great communicators of our time, such as the General Director of RMC, the Head of the Tourist Bureau or key figures of the international jet set, the club soon had amongst its members diplomates, businessmen, artists and journalists, all motivated by similar goals.
Some forty years later, under the chairmanship of Honorary President H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco and Executive President Alexander Moghadam, the Monaco Ambassadors Club is more active than ever in this same desire to highlight the culture, art of living and the vibrancy of the Principality of Monaco.
Through a prestigious network including government officials, members of the diplomatic and consular corps, worldwide recognised public figures, multinational companies and high flying businessmen, the Monaco Ambassadors Club offers its members the possibility to develop an international vision of society in relation to the unique position of the Principality.
Members are ambassadors of their own culture and also represent the Monegasque culture throughout the world.
During an annual award ceremony held by The Monaco Ambassadors Club, a person who has strived to spread the Principality's influence is nominated "Goodwill Ambassador of the Year" by H.S.H Prince Albert II.
